ADAMVS is a family-owned, biodynamic, winery estate producing Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc on Howell Mountain. It is a secluded estate with animals (cows, donkeys, sheep), orchards, olives, wild bees and colorful insectaries.
We are a small international team whose vineyard/winery members have all previously worked harvests around the world and through our cherished experiences we hope to help make this internship a rewarding experience for the selected candidate. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, positive, hardworking and adaptable.
1. Harvest related tasks include but are not limited to the following:
a. Cleaning
b. Grape receiving, sorting and processing
c. Cap Management (punch downs & pump-overs)
d. Barrel preparation
e. Shoveling skins and seeds from tanks
f. Press operations
2. Requirements:
a. Candidates must be able to legally work in the US
b. Secure reliable housing and transportation
c. Ability to climb ladders and stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and perform all winery activities
d. Work up to 7 days a week with possibly few days off
e. Comply with all safety requirements
