Merryvale Vineyards, a world-renowned, family-owned, ultra-premium winery, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Wine Club Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our wine club programs. This role is responsible for managing Merryvale’s various club memberships, serving as the primary steward of member relationships, and overseeing the day-to-day execution, communication, and planning of all wine club initiatives.
The Wine Club Manager plays a critical role in driving member engagement, retention, and revenue through thoughtful programming, quarterly shipment planning, and the execution of multiple wine club–exclusive and allocated releases throughout the year.

Summary of Duties

Wine Club Management & Member Engagement (50% of total duties)

•  Manages and oversees all Merryvale wine club memberships, ensuring a best-in-class experience across all tiers
•  Leads day-to-day wine club communications, including shipment messaging, allocation offers, newsletters, and member-specific campaigns
•  Oversees planning, execution, and performance of quarterly wine club shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional presentation
•  Plans and executes multiple wine club–exclusive and allocation-based wine releases throughout the year
•  Responsible for processing wine club orders and batches to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals
•  Acts as a lead brand ambassador for all wine club activities, fostering authentic and lasting relationships with members
•  Attends all winery hosted club member events to connect and build lasting relationships with club members
•  Develops and maintains a deep understanding of each wine club tier and creates targeted programming, benefits, and communications for each
•  Works alongside the Director of DTC & Marketing to build and manage an annual wine club calendar encompassing shipments, releases, campaigns, and member experiences
•  Works closely with the Director of DTC & Marketing to create compelling, on-brand collateral and digital content that enhances member engagement
•  Partners with Events and Estate Tasting Room managers to design and execute wine club–focused experiences that drive loyalty and retention
•  Proactively anticipates member needs and continuously evolves wine club offerings to strengthen long-term relationships
•  Achieves all annual wine club sales, gross profit, and direct contribution goals

Cross-Functional Training & Duties (30% of total duties)

•  Develops and executes wine club training programs and guidelines for tasting room and sales teams
•  Designs and refines wine club incentive programs to drive enrollment, engagement, and retention
•  Serves as an active member of the tasting room sales management team, aligning wine club strategy with on-site guest experiences
•  Actively engages with customers both non-member and member for order opportunities throughout the year
•  Partners with the Tasting Room Manager to support and lead the Merryvale Concierge Training Program
•  Identifies new and innovative touchpoints for engaging wine club members across the tasting room, events, marketplace, and digital platforms

Digital Operations & Database Systems Support (20% of total duties)

•  Builds, maintains, and documents all procedures and training materials for Merryvale wine clubs
•  Oversees all wine club batch processing, fulfillment coordination, and revenue acquisition
•  Develops and maintains forecasting and modeling tools to project wine club orders and annual revenue
•  Manages and optimizes relationships with telesales vendors to improve performance and results
•  Establishes and enforces data entry standards across CRM systems, continuously improving processes and accuracy
•  Acts as liaison with fulfillment partners and ShipCompliant systems to ensure seamless execution
•  Collaborates with marketing to maintain accurate and up-to-date wine club content across digital platforms
•  Oversees creation and distribution of wine club newsletters and collateral, contributing to creative copy and content development

Qualifications

•  Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
•  Commerce7 experience required
•  Proven success managing wine club programs, allocations, and DTC sales initiatives
•  Strategic thinker with strong operational and organizational skills
•  Professional demeanor with flexibility to support business needs
•  Exceptional attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
•  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends to support wine club events
•  Bachelor’s degree strongly recommended
•  Minimum of 5+ years of experience in wine club management, CRM, or related DTC roles

Salary range based on experience.
