B Cellars - Shipping Associate

B Cellars Vineyard & Winery

Oakville, CA

Job Description:

Full-Time Shipping Associate Positions Available

B Cellars Vineyards and Winery | bcellars.com

B Cellars Vineyards & Winery has distinguished itself as a pioneer in food and wine pairing and is redefining the Napa Valley experience. Our family-owned winery offers an exceptional collection of highly-rated, world-class wines, available exclusively at our estate. Complementing our wines is a state-of-the-art culinary program, an accessible wine-making facility, and expansive wine caves, all presented within a welcoming and comfortable setting. Our philosophy is committed to continuous improvement, exceptional hospitality, and leading the way in innovation within the wine industry. We aim to create an environment where every guest feels valued and enjoys a truly memorable visit.

Position Overview
The Shipping Associate plays a mission-critical role in delivering the B Cellars experience beyond the winery walls. While sales, hospitality, and our culinary team set the stage for exceptional customer relationships, the sale is not truly complete until each bottle arrives safely, accurately, and beautifully to our customers. This role ensures that the final step of the guest journey reflects the same care, craftsmanship, and precision that goes into every B Cellars wine.

Why This Role Matters
At B Cellars, exceptional service is foundational to our identity. Our customers place trust in us—not just for our high-quality wines, but also for our reliability, attention to detail, and thoughtful communication. A single delayed, damaged, or misrouted shipment can undermine the entire experience and jeopardize long-term loyalty. Conversely, a seamless shipping experience deepens connection, reinforces brand excellence, and creates moments of delight long after a guest has left the property.

The Shipping Associate is therefore more than a logistics role: they are a steward of our brand and a guardian of the customer relationship. Their work has an immediate and lasting impact on member retention, future sales, and the reputation of B Cellars.

Core Responsibilities
Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders, club allocations, special releases, and corporate shipments with exceptional accuracy and care.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve issues with carriers, weather holds, and customer availability.
Maintain clean, organized, and efficient shipping and storage areas
Uphold compliance with all wine shipping regulations across states
Complete weekly/monthly inventory
Communicate with internal teams to ensure alignment on timelines, inventory, and customer notes
Continually look for ways to increase efficiency, accuracy, and the overall customer experience.

The Ideal Candidate
We’re seeking someone ambitious, driven, and energized by solving problems. This role requires a blend of operational discipline and creative thinking—no two days or shipping challenges are the same. The ideal candidate is:
Detail-obsessed (in the best way): You notice the extra step that prevents an issue before it happens
Organized and consistent: The systems you create and maintain keep everything running smoothly
A natural trouble-shooter: When weather, carriers, or logistics create challenges, you stay calm and find a path forward
Customer-minded: You understand the person behind every order and how your work shapes their experience
Team-oriented: You collaborate closely with hospitality, sales, and management teams
