Established vineyard is seeking an enthusiastic worker with a positive attitude who seeks to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will perform a wide range of operations as part of a small, close-knit team. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to those listed below:

-Pest and disease scouting
-Vineyard management and development assistance
-Data entry and analysis
-Manage Spray, fertility, and cover crop program, with the support of an outside consultant.
-Monthly PUR reporting
-Petiole sampling
-Crop estimation
-Maturity sampling and processing
-Harvest assistance (night work required)
-Virus scouting and sampling
-Work with vineyard manager in irrigation decisions and Pruning decisions
-Work with VP Operations on custom farming decisions
-Vine Counts
-Manage Fish Friendly Farming certification
-Manage seasonal interns
-Ordering supplies for vineyard and landscape teams
-Lead for Vineyard and Landscape safety program
-Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to be insurable by the company
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work outdoors and walk, bend and squat on uneven terrain
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Minimum of 3 to 5 years field experience
Knowledge of common pests and monitoring practices

Preferred Qualifications:
Bi-lingual – English & Spanish
Management skills
CPR/First Aid Certificate
PCA or QAL
Forklift Experience
ATV Experience
College degree in viticulture, plant biology or related field

Compensation:
Hiring Salary Range $70,000-90,000
