Business Development Manager, House of Far Niente

Our team is expanding to support our growing portfolio. The Business Development Manager works strategically between Marketing & Direct to Consumer teams to generate qualified leads that deliver visitation and revenue to our Napa Valley estates.
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with key referral sources to increase our bookings with hotel concierges, DMCs, sales managers, itinerary designers, VIP drivers, and others, to drive business to reservations, group tour and tastings, virtual experiences, and corporate gifting.
• Develops and manages partner referral programs, overseeing accurate tracking to measure ROI of each relationship.
• Identifies new business opportunities with industry partners, manages pipeline tracker, creates sales pitches to generate new business opportunities via the phone, email, and in person.
• Assists in planning onsite events with partners at the wineries with internal DTC teams, acting as a liaison with partners
• Works with the brand marketing team & partner to ensure all aspects of the partnership are executed in social, email, collateral and other communication pieces - on point, on brand.
• Keeps abreast of competitor offerings to ensure that we are finding ways to increase our value and visibility.
• Maximizes business impact from our corporate groups to ensure we are serving the customers with all relevant areas of the business and channels by ensuring proper data capture and follow up transpires with each event in person and virtual.
• Manages our VIP Hospitality Program including reservations, calendars and invites, and reporting quarterly on metrics.
• Leads Consumer Event and VIP calendar process.
• Achieves performance targets as defined annually.

You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:
• 3 + years in a similar management capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as being a member of a highly functioning team.
• Sales, corporate events, gifting, and virtual experience required. Knowledge and use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the predominately used language. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead and inspire a team.
This is a hybrid office position, but there are some physical requirements that our large estate requires:
• Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand and ascend and descend stairs.
