Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Contractor
Location: Hybrid – Primarily remote (Napa, CA) with occasional local errands
Hours: 15–20 hours/week, flexible schedule
Compensation: $30 - $50/hour (to be determined based on experience and scope of work).
Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Role Overview
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Contractor to support our growing winery operations. This flexible, remote-friendly role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys contributing to a small, entrepreneurial team.

Key Responsibilities
•  Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Proprietor
•  Handle email correspondence, scheduling, order processing, and shipment coordination
•  Manage inventory, including periodic reconciliation
•  Prepare shipping documents and coordinate shipments and deliveries (remotely or in person)
•  Maintain and update the company website as needed
•  Assist with social media content and scheduling
•  Run errands (e.g., pick up/drop off wine or supplies)
•  Support light project management tasks and team communication
•  Manage invoicing, expense tracking, and basic accounting tasks
•  Serve as a liaison with vendors, clients, and partners
•  Help with event preparation and coordination
•  Perform occasional on-site support at winery-related locations

Qualifications & Skills
•  Proven experience in an administrative or support role (contract or employee)
•  Strong organizational and time-management skills with sharp attention to detail
•  Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
•  Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
•  Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
•  High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)

Bonus Experience (Not Required but Preferred):
•  Direct-to-consumer (DTC) wine operations: customer service, wine club, guest hosting
•  WineDirect and/or Commerce7 platforms
•  Website maintenance (e.g., Wix, WordPress or similar CMS)
•  Wine industry compliance (DTC and wholesale)
•  Experience in wholesale wine distribution
