We are an ultra-premium winery and currently open up a new position. We are seeking the right candidate to join our team. A Junior Accountant who will be responsible for recording the day-to-day accounting transactions. This position is an integral member of our accounting team and will report to a Controller and is supervised by our Senior Accountant. This is a non-exempt position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• This is mid-level accounting position that requires min of 3 years’ experience.
• Previous wine industry experience required.
• Strong background in accounting.
• Ability to function professionally in a teamwork environment.
• Must have Accounting certification or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QB Enterprise, Bill.com, Toast, Commerce 7 or equivalent a plus
• Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Strategic thinking – the ability to identify new opportunities to grow the business.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Able to sit at a desk for a long period of time.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIY:
The primary areas of responsibility are to record, manage and reconcile Accounts receivables, Accounts Payable and other cash related ledger accounts. Keep the AR and AP modules in current status. AR Collections. Manage Bill.com. Ensure the ledgers are accurate and account for all cash related accounts by applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist the accounting department with clerical tasks for month-end, year-end from time to time.
