Cellar Master Position
We are a small premium Napa Valley Winery seeking to fill a full-time Cellar Master position. This person will predominately be working on their own with regular weekday hours and weekends during harvest. This position will answer directly to the winemaker and owners.

Job Desciption / Responsibilities:
Candidate answers to the winemaker in all aspects of production.
Candidate required to physically carry out all the day to day cellar operations.
Candidate to maintain a clean and organized winery.
Candidate to participate in production tastings.
Candidate to maintain the winery property and equipment.
Candidate to train and supervise temporary wine production help as needed.
Candidate to participate and monitor company safety.
Candidate to participate in trade events.
Candidate to work in other areas of the winery when available and needed.

Requirements:
Candidate must have practical winery experience.
Candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate must be able to use Microsoft Office.
Candidate must have forklift experience and pass testing.
Candidate must have the ability to work independently.
Candidate must have the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Extended hours are to be expected at different times throughout the year.
