Whitehall Lane Winery is a family-owned winery seeking a fun, outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join our team of Wine Educators at one of Napa Valley’s most prestigious wineries. Our perfect candidate will have a passion for hospitality, come to work with a positive attitude, provide exceptional service to our guests and be a team player willing to assist in all aspects of the tasting room. Candidates must also be passionate and knowledgeable about wine, have exceptional customer service skills and have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Hiring Full and Part Time positions:

Sales and Service Duties
•  Speak comfortably in front of both small and large groups
•  Communicate genuinely and passionately with guests
•  Provide valuable and entertaining wine and brand education
•  Create memorable experiences for all guests who visit the estate
•  Engage with customers and sell wine before their experience ends in the tasting room
•  Promote and sell wine club memberships
•  Follow up with guests by writing thank you cards
•  Maintain composure in stressful/unpredictable situations and handle them effectively
•  Work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and maintain enthusiasm throughout the business day
•  Represent the winery at outside functions as needed

Additional Daily Operational Duties
•  Perform opening and closing tasks
•  Stock retail area by moving and distributing cases of wine and other merchandise
•  Assist with special events as needed
•  Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of the winery and its wines
•  Make and receive sales calls as needed
•  Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Tasting Room Manager

Compensation includes:

Must be at least 21, able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be reliable, punctual, flexible and able to work weekends and holidays.

This position is full-time with excellent benefits with part-time available as well. We offer a competitive wine industry wage and reward our employees with additional pay opportunities such as sales and wine club signup commissions.
