Hourglass Winery Harvest Internship – 2025
Hourglass Winery is seeking a motivated intern to assist with our 2025 harvest. We specialize in producing premium estate wines and offer a hands-on learning experience in a small production environment, working directly with our winemakers. You will also have the experience of making wine for the brands Patria, Mabon, and Neotempo. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in wine production and collaborate with esteemed winemaker Tony Biagi.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
Receiving and crushing fruit
Performing fermentation management tasks, including pump-overs, punch-downs, and pressing
Conducting additions and barrel work
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Strong communication, punctuality, and mathematical skills
Good manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and a strong safety mindset
Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions (standing, kneeling, crawling, and climbing for extended periods)
Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, in hot temperatures
Forklift operation experience (preferred but not required)
Prior harvest or cellar experience (preferred but not required)
Reliable transportation and housing arrangements
Legal authorization to work in the United States
This is a seasonal position.
