Your role as an intern would include but not be limited to:
-Fruit processing
-Pump overs
-Yeast and nutrient additions
-Fermentation management
-Data entry
-Barreling down wine
-Tank dig outs and pressing
-Barrel work
-Lab analysis
-Cleaning and general tidy of the cellar
What we look for in a candidate is somebody who is detail-oriented and has a drive to be part of making premium wines. We try to keep a good work/life balance during harvest, but there will be long days required as well as weekend work. Prior harvest experience is a plus but not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate. Prior Forklift experience is a plus as well. Our internship period generally ranges from August through mid-November, but may be altered depending on growing conditions. Hourly pay ranges from $21-23 depending on experience.
We are unable to provide employee housing but are willing to help you look and connect with people who may have availability.
If you are interested in applying, please submit a resume and cover letter.
