Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is a key contributor to the efficiency and accuracy of our bottling department, with a primary focus on overseeing both internal and client inventory. This role bridges multiple departments, ensuring all materials are tracked, documented, and handled in alignment with company standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a dynamic production environment, and is adept at both administrative coordination and inventory management.

Reports to: Bottling Management
Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $24 - $26
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.

You will:
Operate forklifts to safely move, store, and organize materials, and other inventory.
Cover forklift operations during employee breaks or as needed to maintain continuous workflow.
Maintain and manage all dunnage materials (returnable packaging, bins, pallets, etc.), including accurate tracking, storage, and timely return to appropriate suppliers or customers.
Serve as a liaison between bottling and multiple departments, and client service teams to ensure smooth coordination across departments.
Perform and reconcile inventory counts for bottling materials and consumables such as adhesives, cleaning products, and packaging components.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.
Support bottling supervisors with administrative duties, including reports, order tracking, and internal communications.
Respond to inquiries regarding inventory availability, delivery schedules, and production needs.
Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures, cleanliness, and proper material handling practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

You Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
Forklift operation experience is required; and ability to obtain certification upon hire.
1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving; experience in a winery production environment preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills strongly preferred.
Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Familiarity with bottling, manufacturing, or winery operations is a strong plus.
Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a proactive work ethic.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Regular walking, standing, and occasional sitting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work performed in a fast-paced, production-focused warehouse environment.
Must adhere to all safety regulations and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
