Fior di Sole is a family-owned and operated wine company located in the heart of Napa Valley, producing exceptional quality wines from Napa and throughout California for over 24 years. Our portfolio of brands spans more than 3.5 million cases, 8 million gallons, and more than a hundred retailer-exclusive and client wine brands across all price tiers, from popular to super-premium. Our wines can be found in leading retailers internationally and throughout the US, including Total Wine, HEB, Whole Foods, Costco, Kroger, Spec's, BevMo! and Trader Joe's.

Summary:
The Graphic Designer leads graphic design projects across the Fior di Sole and Ca’ Momi portfolios, including new brand and product concept development, sales presentations, advertisements, point-of-sale and collateral materials, and graphics support for digital and social initiatives. This role manages all design projects to ensure high-quality work throughout the entirety of the project. The Graphic Designer should demonstrate a high level of proficiency in design, web and multimedia software and applications. Solid skills in Photo Shop, Light Room and Adobe Illustrator are needed. It is beneficial if they have knowledge of printing procedures, photography, and illustration. Leads communication with external design vendors for specific projects.

Reports to: Creative Services Manager
Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Salary Range: $68,600 - $75,000 exempt
Location: 100% on-site at Napa, CA headquarters

You Will:
Lead development & design of product line extensions, art updates & package changes for existing brands
Create, develop & present unique private label brand concepts from start to finish, including the creative development of all associated packaging & promotional materials components
Prepare private-label portfolio presentation materials for our sales division in both print & digital formats.
Support the Marketing Team with special projects, events & activations as needed
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions

You Have:
Adobe Creative Suite applications, including In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat. Experience and ability with graphic design software.
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, creative & organizational skills demonstrated by the ability to make timely & sound decisions. Ability to multi-task and take initiative.
Ability to balance both creative & technical challenges & manage numerous projects, tight turnaround times, scheduling conflicts & revisions & technical challenges effectively.
2-3 years of professional experience in an on-site graphic design role is required.
Post-production skills, to include editing still photographs, as well as and the ability to edit videos for social media use preferred.
Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems desired.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred; graphic design coursework or degree strongly preferred; high school diploma required.
Proficiency in MS Office; ability to work in both Mac and PC environments a plus.
Familiarity with project management software/tools (Asana, Google Docs, etc.).
Operate with a safety-first mentality, able to create and maintain a safe working environment and report any potential risks.
Must be able to travel between locations; must have California’s driver’s license and be able to be covered by company auto insurance.
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (eight or more hours per day).
Ability to drink wine; will attend tastings and related wine events or dinners, etc.
May need to lift 25+ lbs. (e.g. a case of wine) regularly.
Must be fully fluent in English. Fluency or ability in Italian is a plus!
