About the role
We are currently looking for a Part-Time Tasting Room Educator at Backstage Winery with a background in customer service, and truly enjoys talking and working with customers. As a Part Time Tasting Room Educator, you will be the main point of contact for our guests, so a polite, friendly, and energetic demeanor is a must
Responsibilities:
-Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with professionalism and enthusiasm
-Manage daily reservations using Tock
-Confirm bookings and answer questions via phone and email
-Coordinate seating and communicate with the tasting room staff to ensure smooth guest flow
-Handle last-minute changes or walk-ins with grace and clear communication
-Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment
-Be knowledgeable about our wines and experiences, and ready to assist where needed
-Create a friendly, inclusive, and guest-first atmosphere at all times
What We're Looking For:
-Prior hospitality or customer service experience (wine or tasting room experience a plus!)
-Comfortable using Tock, or eager to learn
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
-Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for creating great guest experiences
-Must be 18+
*This is a part-time position. Will discuss days in person. Great opportunity to grow with a small, passionate team!
Compensation
- $22/hr plus tips
