Job Description:

The Duckhorn Portfolio is North America’s premier luxury wine company. We were established in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn. Today, our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Decoy, Sonoma-Cutrer, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Canvasback, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing and Postmark.

The Concierge is expected to provide exemplary service to all Duckhorn Portfolio guests in person, via email and through phone correspondence. This includes Wine Club members, Industry, and VIP guests. This role is the first point of contact for guests upon arrival thus setting the tone for their tasting experience. This position must have exceptional communication and guest services skills, being gracious, focused, and highly organized, which contributes to the overall success of our hospitality programming. Professionalism, exceptional phone and email etiquette, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and having an attention to detail is essential to succeed in this position.

This position is part-time and the estimated time frame for this seasonal position is May 2025 - October 2025.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Act as point person for incoming phone calls and inboxes for reservations and guest inquiries
•  Possess full knowledge of reservation systems (TOCK), shipping procedures/volume limits when shipping wines, and current promotions (online and Visitor Center)
•  Enter and process wine club forms, ship orders, and data capture information
•  Maintain aesthetic of the retail area and all guest areas
•  Educate guests about The Duckhorn Portfolio tasting options at each property, including Elevated experiences, costs, and availability
•  Welcomes and greets guests explaining tasting options and greet wines, assigning tables, and seating upon arrival
•  Manage all verbal and written communication to customers and guests including confirmation of guests visit, follow-up, and special requests

What you will need:
•  Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
•  Minimum 1 year experience in the luxury hospitality or wine industry.
•  Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
•  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•  Collaborative/team operational skills.
•  Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, TOCK, and Wine Direct.
•  Available to work weekends and select holidays.
•  Valid Driver's License and insurable MVR.
•  Ability to lift up to 42 lbs.
•  Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
