The Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) is seeking a detail-driven and creative Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of our signature events—ranging from intimate industry gatherings to annual celebration dinners.
As a key member of our team, you’ll bring NVG’s mission to life through engaging, impactful events that support our local grape growers, engage with our members, elevate Napa Valley’s agricultural excellence, and foster lasting connections throughout our community.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and manage a diverse calendar of NVG events, from educational forums and networking receptions to high-profile fundraising galas.
• Own event logistics from start to finish, ensuring exceptional experiences through thoughtful planning, vendor coordination, budgeting, and execution.
• Play a pivotal role in the success of our flagship fundraiser, Harvest STOMP, collaborating closely with staff, vendors, and committees to create an unforgettable event.
• Support strategic sponsorships, committee engagement, and event communications to maximize member and partner value.
Who You Are
• A seasoned event professional with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing events of various scales.
• Highly organized and proactive, with a knack for juggling timelines, logistics, and multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable with everything from high-level strategy to hands-on setup—no task is too big or too small.
• A collaborative communicator who thrives in a mission-driven environment and values community impact.
• Experience with tools like Asana and comfort with managing budgets is a plus.
