Job Description:

Failla Wines is seeking interns for our 2024 harvest team. We specialize in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah from Sonoma Coast. We are a small team, so you will be exposed to all aspects of harvest and get a very well-rounded experience. If you are joyful, a wine geek, hardworking, and organized, this is an incredible opportunity to work with some of the best vineyards in California. We provide delicious lunch, beer, snacks, and wine!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

•  Cleaning
•  Grape receiving, sorting, processing
•  Cap Management - pigeage, punch downs, pump-overs
•  Barrel prep
•  Digging tanks
•  Press operations
•  Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
•  Prior harvest experience is great, but we are happy to train
•  Reliability and a genuine love for wine
•  Desire to comply with any and all safety requirements
•  Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
•  Good reading, writing, and math skills
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
•  Fluent in English or as a second language
•  Reliable transportation and housing
•  Legal to work in US, or able to take care of your visa yourself

Working Conditions:

•  Standing for long periods of time (8 hours or more) in all types of weather
•  Exposure to loud and dangerous machinery
•  Irregular hours during peak periods
•  Extensive walking, climbing, being in high spaces and lifting up to 50 pounds
