Huneeus Wines (HW) is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated individual to assist with maturity testing for Harvest 2024. We are a small passionate team that works with multiple wine grape varietals from grower owned vineyards in Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Essential Duties


The position will assist with the following:

•  Daily sampling of vineyards between Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino Counties.
•  Processing of berry and cluster samples. Must learn location of vineyard sample blocks and independently schedule sampling route from a daily assigned list. A typical day would begin around 7am and end between 12pm-1pm- depending on the number of locations and samples required.
•  Daily and accurate data entry of sampling analysis.
•  May assist in overseeing picks and other harvest duties assigned.


Qualifications

•  Team oriented with a high level of integrity.
•  Flexibility and good sense of humor!!
•  Good multi-tasking and time management skills.
•  Experience with Excel, a plus.
•  Good organizational skills, writing, and communication skills.
•  Owns a reliable car.


Physical requirements

•  Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean DMV record
•  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, to accommodate the needs of harvest operations. Saturdays included.
•  Ability to climb stairs and lift 50 lbs
•  Ability to stand and walk over rough, steep and uneven terrain in hot and/or inclement weather

The wage range for this role is $19.00 to $22.00 plus mileage reimbursement.
