Hospitality Floor Supervisor

Job Description:

Purpose
This full-time hourly position is responsible for supervision and training of the Tasting Room staff during service, hosting guests, and ensuring all standards are being followed while providing exceptional guest experiences.

Key relationships
Internal: Hospitality GM, TR Chef, Events Manager, TR Supervisor, Hospitality staff
External: Sales Team, Customers, Vendors

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
General:
•  Daily supervision of Hospitality staff, ensuring brand standards for service and experiences are being followed
•  Serves as a resource to immediately resolve staff and guest issues
•  Trains and onboards new Hospitality staff
•  Hosts guests in a dedicated section
•  Provides coverage for Hospitality Team member breaks
•  Responsible for service inventories of wine, glassware, collateral, etc.
•  Responsible for opening or closing the Tasting room as needed
•  Additional duties as assigned by the Hospitality GM

Qualifications/Requirements:
•  Previous tasting room experience required
•  Working wine knowledge required, wine certification preferred
•  Experience with Commerce 7 preferred
•  Weekend availability required
•  Able to carry up to 50 lbs regularly
•  Able to climb multiple flights of stairs several times per day
•  Able to interact comfortably with guests and staff in English
•  CA Food handler and TIPS certifications required
