Position Objective
As the Facilities Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds of the winery and residence located at the Silverado Trail, as well as the office location on La Tour Court. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and provide a world class environment for our operations and guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•  Providing support in repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment, infrastructure, fixtures, furnishings, and buildings at an exquisite level.
•  Conducting preventative maintenance inspections and performing required actions such as lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes with an eye for perfection.
•  Assisting in the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment as required, ensuring every detail is handled with the utmost care and attention.
•  Staying current with safety practices and seeking supervisory direction for advice or training as needed.
•  Demonstrating unparalleled skill in troubleshooting and swiftly rectifying any issues that may arise, maintaining the flawless operations.
•  Performing landscaping and grounds work, including tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, light pruning, and replacing shrubs or flowers as needed.
•  Performing comprehensive landscaping and grounds maintenance, which includes tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, light pruning, replacing shrubs or flowers as needed, cleaning various surfaces using power washers and floor sweepers, and conducting seasonal tasks like raking leaves and mowing grass.
•  Supporting warehouse operations as needed.
•  Ensuring compliance with sustainability policies and practices by supporting conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling programs.
•  Following safe operating procedures and supporting safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental, and team member's safety.



Qualifications + Requirements:
•  Experience: 5-7 years of Maintenance Operations/Management experience, preferably in the wine industry or related luxury hotel operations. A proven track record of effectively managing facility maintenance tasks and teams is highly desirable.
•  Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to perfection in every task undertaken.
•  Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, honest drive to "do things right the first time," and being a consummate team player are necessary in this tight-knit organization. Your dedication to excellence and collaborative spirit will contribute to the success of our team.
•  Flexibility: This position requires a flexible schedule based on the needs of the winery.Adaptability, and willingness to adjust to changing priorities and schedules are essential qualities.
•  Communication Skills: Professional email communication and calendar management are a must. Effective communication with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders is crucial for successful facility operations.
•  Physical Aptitude: Physical agility and strength to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces, ensuring the immaculate maintenance of our estate.
•  Certifications: Professional certifications are not required but strongly encouraged to be earned. Continuous learning and professional development opportunities will be supported and encouraged.
