Grgich Hills Estate was founded in 1977 by Miljenko "Mike" Grgich and Austin Hills, of the Hills Bros. coffee company, after the Chateau Montelena Chardonnay Mike crafted won the now famous 1976 Paris Tasting, beating the best wines of France. Grgich Hills Estate remains family-owned and operated, practicing the art of winemaking by crafting food-friendly, balanced, and elegant wines. We farm our five certified organic estate vineyards without artificial pesticides or herbicides, rely on wild yeast fermentation, and use our passion and art to handcraft our award-winning wines.

SUMMARY: Manages the day-to-day responsibilities associated with accommodating guests' arrivals, departures, and requirements at the main desk entry to the winery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet all guests and, provide a summary of the winery, provide direction appropriately
Provide excellent customer service to all guests
Provide accurate information about the company/winery to guests
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Assist with washing and buffing glassware as needed
Thank guests are they are leaving the winery
Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
At least one year of customer service experience, hospitality/retail/restaurant preferred
Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and ability to sale
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and able to multi-task
Must be flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as needed
Must be at least 18 years of age
Lift up to 50 lbs

BASE WAGE COMPENSATION
$22.00/hour - $23.00/hour (DOE)
