We are seeking an extraordinary, enthusiastic Estate Marketing Manager to join our Estate Winery Team, West. Reporting to the Regional Estate Manager — South Okanagan, you will be responsible for providing marketing support and insights that will drive growth in tasting room visitation and wine sales, wine club memberships, E-comm revenue and social media followers, for our South Okanagan Wineries (Black Hills Estate Winery, Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, Red Rooster).
We are looking for a teammate with:
Bachelor of Commerce/Communications/Marketing or equivalent, combined with three to five (3-5) years brand/hospitality marketing experience
Luxury retail marketing experience an asset
Exceptional communication skills; a proven track record in achieving results
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities; ability to work productively with diverse work styles
Proficiency in online and offline marketing tools and ability to work within tight timelines
Enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment and able to manage competing demands
This teammate will be accountable for:
Creating promotional programs (Radio, Print, digital) supporting wine club membership growth
Partnering with local hospitality partners to strengthen/create partnerships that leverage guests/traffic to the wineries
Media relations related to food and wine, travel and tourism
Working closely with the Estate Managers/Winemakers ensuring effective hosting and engagement of media
Creating and deploying press releases related to winery activities and events
Aligning with local tourism associations ensuring the Southern Wineries gain maximum benefit
Supporting the Estate teams in developing E-comm offers
Developing winery POS collateral to support sales of wine, wine clubs and accessories, as well develop promotional collateral for events
Collaborating with Brand Marketer to ensure consistency with overall brand strategy
Execution of consumer surveys and all on-site research programs
Managing B2C marketing budget for the South Wineries
Creating an annual marketing plan and tracking/evaluating results
Following safe work procedures/practices reporting any unsafe working conditions/hazards to Management team.
