Dunham Cellars, a family owned and operated winery in Walla Walla, WA is seeking a winery accountant/full-charge bookkeeper for multiple winery-affiliated companies. Successful applicants are proficient in QuickBooks, clear communicators, and have a meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include payroll, payroll taxes, year-end IRS documents (W2’s, 1099’s, etc), accounts receivable and payable, deposits, GL entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, fixed asset and depreciation schedules, TimeClock Plus management, workers compensation administration, state/federal licensing renewals, and other financial management reports as requested. This position also assists in certain human resource responsibilities including new hire paperwork, health insurance paperwork, and OSHA reporting.

•  QuickBooks Payroll, including Time Sheets
•  QuickBooks Accounts Payable
•  QuickBooks Accounts Receivable
•  QuickBooks General Ledger
•  Activ8 Point-of-Sale reports
•  TimeClock Plus – adding/removing hourly employees, tracking hours
•  Vintrace Production software
•  Liaison to CPA firm for annual Compiled Statements
•  Sales/Use, Excise, Payroll Tax Reporting
•  Fixed Asset and Depreciation Schedules
•  Internal Financial Statements
•  Management Reports

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

•  Certifications/degrees in Accounting or Business with an Accounting emphasis
•  Manufacturing Accounting experience preferred, but not required
•  QuickBooks Proficient
