Raymond Burr Vineyards is a boutique, family-owned winery in Dry Creek Valley, known for producing award-winning, small lot wines. We are looking for someone to join our team as a part-time tasting room associate, around 15-20 hours per week to start.

Responsibilities
Greet and host guests, leading wine tastings with warmth and knowledge
Present our wines, vineyard, and story in an engaging way that fits each guest’s interest and experience level
Introduce wine club membership and ask for the sale, with the goal of fostering lasting customer relationships
Process wine orders using Commerce7 POS
Manage reservations using Tock
Capture accurate customer information at checkout to ensure guests are recorded properly in our systems
Keep the tasting room and service areas clean, stocked, and presentation-ready
Occasionally answer customer/wine club member inquiries via telephone/email/social media
Occasionally pack/ship wine orders

Qualifications
Hospitality, tasting room, or restaurant experience (1+ year preferred)
Must be 21+ and able to obtain a California RBS (responsible beverage service) certification
Genuine interest in wine, plus a willingness to learn our portfolio
Present a neat & professional appearance consistent with winery hospitality
Strong communication skills and a natural, unscripted style of selling
Reliable and detail-oriented, with a team-first attitude
Comfortable using POS and reservation software; Commerce7 or Tock experience is a plus
Experience using Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Drive) is a plus
Familiarity with social media content creation (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok) is a plus, but not required
Adaptable and willing to perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to ~45 lbs (case of wine), and work in indoor and outdoor settings.

Schedule
Approximately 15-20 hours per week. Weekend availability is required.

Compensation
$25/hr plus tips
