Job Description:

About Vinity Wine Company
Founded in 1999 by Dino Capriotti, Vinity Wine Company has imported and distributed Italian wines of character and place, from artisan producers who represent the best of their regional traditions. We believe great wine is a natural part of the table and tightly linked to the land, the people, and the food it's meant for. We look for teammates who share our passion.

The Role
We’re seeking a motivated, hospitality-minded Account Manager to grow our presence across San Francisco and the East Bay. Vinity Wine Company is a growing importer and distributor of artisanal Italian wines and spirits, representing a tightly curated portfolio of small growers and producers from Piemonte to Sicilia. We build brands patiently, sell on authenticity and regional identity, and measure success in long-term account relationships rather than one-off placements. The right candidate brings genuine curiosity about Italian wine, a service mindset, and the discipline to work a territory well.

What You'll Do
•  Manage and grow an existing book of on- and off-premise accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco and the East Bay.
•  Prospect and open new accounts each month, with a focus on Italian and wine-focused restaurants, independent retailers, and wine bars
•  Lead tastings with sommeliers, wine directors, and store buyers; present new arrivals and seasonal offerings
•  Achieve monthly and annual sales goals for volume, placements, and new accounts
•  Represent Vinity at trade tastings, winemaker visits, staff trainings, and in-store events
•  Keep account and pipeline current in CRM on a daily basis

Qualifications
•  A minimum of five (5) years prior wine and spirits sales experience
•  Solid knowledge of and passion for Italian wine and spirits
•  Established relationships with hospitality and retail community strongly preferred
•  A self-starter who can organize a territory and work independently
•  Strong communication and organizational skills
•  Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
•  Must be 21 or older
•  Ability to lift a case of wine
•  Wine certification (WSET, CMS, Italian Wine Scholar, AIS) a plus; Italian language a plus

What We Offer
•  $60K-$66K base compensation plus commission. Annual salary review and potential performance-based bonus at year end

Benefits package includes health insurance, flexible PTO, and 401K after one year
•  To apply, please send your resume and a cover letter explaining your connection to and passion for Italian wine and spirits and why you are interested in this role. Please do so organically without the use of AI.
