Selendi Wines is an established, certified sustainable boutique estate out of Akhisar, Turkey, crafting low-intervention, high-character food wines. We have verified market velocity in NYC, moving over 1,200 cases last cycle. Our inventory is fully operational and cleared via Park Street Imports, with stock actively staged in our local warehouse for immediate next-day delivery.
We are currently running exceptional volume with premier multi-unit networks and elite Mediterranean groups, including SA Hospitality Group (Felice moving 20 cases in 15 days) and the Zizi Restaurant Group (recent 23-case single drop). As a local, NYC-based owner, I am fully committed to providing active field support, including sales ride-alongs, winemaker dinners, and in-store retail tastings to help you drive velocity. While Manhattan and Brooklyn are our absolute top priority, we also have full distribution capabilities ready in New Jersey if you have accounts there.
THE ROLE
This is an independent broker/contractor position perfect for an active street rep looking to add a high-margin, highly validated portfolio to their existing bag with strong owner-backed support in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
•  Leverage your existing rolodex of NYC beverage directors and retail wine buyers to secure immediate By-the-Glass (BTG) placements and retail positions.
•  Conduct face-to-face sample tastings with targeted accounts, focusing heavily on premium Mediterranean, coastal European, and high-volume independent programs.
•  Collaborate with the owner on joint sales ride-alongs, targeted trade activations, and in-store consumer tastings.
•  Coordinate seamless order fulfillment through our established Park Street logistics channel.
REQUIREMENTS
•  Minimum 2+ years of wholesale wine sales experience within the NYC market (NJ experience is a plus).
•  An active, warm rolodex of current wine buyers, sommeliers, and independent retail managers in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
•  Deep understanding of by-the-glass program math and restaurant inventory requirements.
•  Self-motivated hunter mentality; you know how to close a room during afternoon drop-ins.

COMPENSATION & PERKS
This is a pure commission-driven broker position offering an incredibly aggressive, multi-tiered payout structure designed for proven closers:
•  Base Commission: $15 per case from Case 1, paid monthly upon collection.
•  High-Volume Quota Kicker: Cross a modest baseline of 20 cases/month, and your commission retroactively bumps to $20 per case for all volume that month.
•  New Account Hunter Bonus: $100 cash bonus for every new restaurant or retail placement secured with a 3+ case opening order.
•  Operational Support: Local NYC-based owner support for joint sales ride-alongs, winemaker dinners, in-store tastings, and a fully provided sample inventory.
