We are looking for an creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Specialist to join our team! In this role, the Marketing & Events Specialist will support the marketing department for Artisan Lodges and Wilson Artisan Wines, executing various tasks related to marketing, sales, and events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the development and implementation of long-term marketing strategies to promote the brand’s story, wineries, lodging properties, and events to drive expansion and broaden outreach.
Assist with the conceptualization, design, and execution of various marketing initiatives.
Design and execute email campaigns, newsletters, and press releases from start to finish.
Support organization of email calendars—collaborating with Artisan Lodges DOO and DTC Sales Managers on promotions, campaign details, deadlines, and approvals.
Plan, create, and schedule compelling and on brand social media posts.
Assist with management and oversight of social media accounts.
Monitor and analyze campaign, website, and social media performance data.
Utilize performance and sales data to market wine and experiences.
Support the development, creation, and ordering of printed materials.
Ensure brand standards are consistently communicated and maintained across all marketing channels and materials.
Collaborate and support Lodging and DTC teams on sales and marketing initiatives.
Maintain excellent communication and partnership with Lodging and DTC teams.
Prepare budget proposals including estimated expenses for catering, entertainment, décor, supplies etc.
Manage event details including wine selection, food offerings, entertainment, decorations, and staffing.
Organize set-up, design and logistics for events and activities.
Facilitate and manage all communication with outside vendors.
Design, update, and distribute promotional materials to help drive event awareness and participation.
Facilitate and manage all event guest registration correspondence.
Oversee logistics and coordinate with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure smooth on-site event execution.
Supervise delivery, installation, break-down, and pick-up of all rental equipment.
Oversee all events and activities, providing day-of onsite supervision.
Attend onsite and offsite events to help promote and represent brands and build assets portfolio.
Track, document, and communicate event/activity results.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Intermediate to advanced skill in graphic design.
Able to organize and manage multiple sales campaign designs and projects simultaneously; excellent follow-up and follow through.
Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, web and social media management, and event development and execution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and confidently with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal awareness and relationship management skills.
Able to resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent time management skills.
Able to demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor.
Able to work weekends, occasional holidays, events, and extended hours.
Able to travel locally to and from multiple company locations as needed.
Must have and maintain a valid, class C driver’s license, a reliable, insured method of transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.Two or more years of successful work experience in a same or similar role in the wine industry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fully proficient in the English language in both oral and written formats required.
Ability to professionally and effectively respond to inquiries, feedback, and grievances.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, Nexternal, Constant Contact, Red Chirp, Social Media Platforms, and graphic art and design software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristic described here are representative of those an employee must work in while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working in a combination of environments, including a tasting room, office, and outdoor areas. Employees will be exposed to varying temperatures and conditions when working outdoors. Traveling to other company properties and working at off-site events is required. The noise level in the work environment is generally low to moderate. Events may have higher levels of noise at times.
