Position Summary
The On-Premise Sales representative is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned on premise accounts while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following are essential duties and responsibilities of this position:
•  Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, internet web site, and other sources
•  Prepares monthly planning and goals
•  Maintains existing accounts and provides customer service in accordance with the Company’s customer service philosophy and standards
•  Schedules product promotions and wine & spirits dinners
•  Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers’ to solicit orders, or talks with customers at the On-Premise place of business or by telephone
•  Sustains the minimum number of sales calls asa determined by their Direct Report
•  Working a firm daily itinerary is mandatory
•  Distributes and displays various Point-of-sale items
•  Quotes prices and prepares sales orders
•  Estimates dates of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of delivery schedules
•  Prepares reports of business transactions
•  Maintains customers management profile and coordinates customer training
•  Works with Administrative and Operations teams to assure the best service is provided to customers
•  Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database through customer service
•  Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts. Investigates and resolves general customer problems
•  Attends trade shows and special events to represent the Company and its brands
