Online wine retailer looking for a full-time Wine Fulfillment & Sales Associate

THE ROLE
Provide exceptional service to clients and staff for all logistics-related activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of wine and spirits orders in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Help maintain accurate inventory at all times. As an online-only retailer, we also value team members who can contribute to sales through strong written communication and wine knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and on time.
Maintain accurate inventory by adding and depleting wines in real time.
Ship in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Work closely with the sales team to deliver an integrated, consistent, and exceptional client experience.
Communicate clearly with customers and fellow team members, primarily in writing (email and online inquiries).
As time allows, support online sales by helping write product descriptions, answer customer wine questions, and make recommendations.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES

2 to 3 years of experience in the wine or beverage industry; college degree a plus but not required
Good wine knowledge, including the ability to read and interpret wine labels correctly
Clear, polished writing skills and comfort describing wines in an engaging, accurate way
Proactive communicator and solution oriented
Excellent client service skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills to set priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holiday hours is required
Ability to lift 50 lb cases on a regular basis is required
