Tasting Room Assistant Manager

Terre Rouge and Easton Wines, a family-owned, artisan winery and tasting room in Amador's historic Shenandoah Valley, is hiring a Tasting Room Assistant Manager. This is a full time position with excellent pay and benefits. The Tasting Room is open Thursday – Monday.
You will be representing one of the area's most reputable wineries, so in addition to providing impeccable customer service, our ideal candidate will show the following capabilities:
- Enthusiasm for wine and a love to share that with our guests
- Desire to give guests a first class and fun tasting room experience
- A professional appearance and attitude while representing our wines
- Able to work with team to meet monthly sales goals
- A creative spirit to grow the wine club and customer base
- Able to multi-task during busy tasting room hours
- Detail-oriented when managing customer orders, shipping and inventory

Skills Needed:
- Basic wine knowledge
- Sales and service experience in the wine or hospitality business
- Computer knowledge and familiar with POS systems. Experience with Commerce7 a plus.
- Able to work alone in place of the manager.
- Must be very personable and able to handle all customer service duties in a positive and friendly manner.

Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be 21 years of age.
