Gary Farrell Winery is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of our tasting room operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves creating memorable guest experiences, knows how to motivate a team, isn't afraid of a sales goal, and can keep all the moving pieces moving in the right direction. And the view from your office isn't too bad either.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll own the day-to-day operation and performance of the tasting room while leading a talented hospitality team. You're part coach, part operator, part salesperson, part problem-solver.

•  Lead the team. Hire, train, schedule, coach, and support our hospitality staff while creating a positive, collaborative, high-performing work environment.
•  Drive the business. Keep the team focused on wine sales, wine club growth, guest engagement, and monthly goals while tracking performance and finding new opportunities to improve results.
•  Own the front-of-house operation. Manage scheduling, reservations, staffing, inventory, tasting menus, daily procedures, cash handling, supplies, and all the behind-the-scenes details that keep the tasting room running smoothly.
•  Create exceptional guest experiences. Set the standard for gracious, approachable hospitality and step in when needed, whether that's welcoming a guest, helping with a tasting, solving a problem, or celebrating a special occasion.
•  Keep everyone connected. Lead team meetings, communicate what's happening each day, and make sure the hospitality team has the information and tools they need to succeed.
•  Be part of the bigger picture. Collaborate with DTC and cross-functional team members on initiatives that grow visitation, strengthen customer relationships, and make Gary Farrell an amazing place to visit.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a strong leader who loves hospitality, understands that sales and great guest experiences can absolutely go hand-in-hand, and wants to be part of a happy, high-performing team.

This is a hands-on management role with weekend availability required. The desired schedule is Thursday through Monday, and occasional evenings and holidays will also be required based on business need.

Ideally, you bring:
•  At least three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a winery tasting room or similar hospitality environment.
•  A track record of coaching and motivating teams to reach goals while maintaining a positive culture.
•  Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment.
•  A warm, confident, and approachable hospitality style.
•  Good judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm when things get busy.
•  Comfort with POS/CRM systems and technology; Tock, C7, and RedChirp experience are a plus.

LOCATION & COMPENSATION
•  Full-time, onsite role based in Healdsburg, CA
•  Salary: $80,000–$95,000 plus discretionary bonus potential*

*The salary range reflects the company’s good-faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this position upon hire. Placement within the range depends on experience and qualifications, and compensation growth opportunities may be available based on performance within the role.
