Who We Are
Wren Hop Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery in Windsor, California, in the Russian River Valley. We make limited-production Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rosé from select cool-climate sites, with a focus on wines that show where they come from.
We started in 2008 with a single-barrel Pinot Noir experiment between father and son — and somehow that experiment turned into a winery. Today, we’re still a small, hands-on team with a lot of personality and a serious passion for making great wine.
Our tastings are intentionally personal. There are no scripts to memorize or rushed experiences. We want guests to feel like they’re being welcomed into our world — having a great conversation, learning something new, and drinking really good wine along the way.

What You’ll Be Doing
Host private tastings for wine club members, collectors, first-time visitors, and returning guests.
Lead guests through our wines in a knowledgeable, approachable, and engaging way.
Share the story of Wren Hop, our vineyards, our winemaking philosophy, and our wines.
Create genuine connections with guests and make their visit feel personal and memorable.
Assist with wine sales and wine club sign-ups by making thoughtful recommendations based on each guest’s preferences.
Help with wine releases, events, and other special tasting room experiences.
Keep the tasting room welcoming, organized, and running smoothly.
Assist with opening and closing, restocking, cleaning, inventory, and other day-to-day tasting room needs.
Bring your own personality and ideas to the guest experience — we’re a small team, and everyone has a voice.

We’d Love to Meet You If...
You have experience in wine, hospitality, tasting rooms, or another customer-facing environment.
You’re comfortable talking about wine and can break down wine profiles using standard tasting protocol.
You genuinely enjoy connecting with people and making them feel welcome.
You can make wine recommendations naturally without making guests feel like they’re being sold to.
You’re curious, enthusiastic, and excited to continue learning about wine.
You’re dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
You’re looking for a hands-on role with a small winery where your personality and ideas actually matter.
You’re available to work weekends, occasional holidays, and winery events.

$20–$22/hour, depending on experience
Approximately 15–25 hours per week
