POSITION SUMMARY:

The Security Specialist is an ultra-high level of trust position requiring impeccable integrity. Security Specialists are charged with protecting the personal safety of the Jackson family members, their property and their assets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
•  Monitor guest arrivals/departures at JFW properties; prevent unauthorized access.
•  Patrol properties (vehicle, foot, occasional helicopter) to detect/prevent intruders and ensure safety.
•  Verify individuals on property; perform citizen's arrests if necessary.
•  Respond to incidents and off-site security alarms at winery and office locations.
•  Inspect properties for safety/security risks.
•  Maintain accurate activity logs for supervisors.
•  Keep assigned vehicle clean and presentable.
•  Maintain professional appearance; keep uniform/equipment in good condition.
•  Attend required firearms and company training.
•  Remove dangerous/nuisance animals as needed.
•  Build and maintain relationships with family, staff, and neighbors.
•  Attend occasional neighborhood meetings, support positive company image.
•  Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.
•  Provide transportation for family and guests.
•  Assist with maintenance logistics for family/company vehicles.
•  Assist with care of family pets as needed.
•  Receive, log, inspect, and distribute packages.
•  Support guest services (transport, greeting, orientation, luggage).
•  Perform additional duties as assigned. Completes various tasks and other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education

•  2 + years of related experience

•  Law enforcement and/or security experience required
•  Knowledge of CA Penal and Vehicle Codes
•  Valid BSIS exposed firearm permit (if armed)
•  BSIS guard card or ability to obtain
•  Ability to pass background check, physical, drug screen, and driving review
•  Proven discretion with confidential information
•  Strong initiative, attention to detail, and communication skills
•  Flexible schedule (all shifts, holidays, all weather)
•  Valid CA driver's license
•  High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:
•  Ability to walk in rough terrain.
•  Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

WAGE TRANSPARENCY: The base pay for this role ranges from $17.77 - $25.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
