Title: Junior Sales Operations Analyst
Reports to: Director of Business Intelligence and VP of Sales
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000

Maison Marques & Domaines, Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Sales Operations Analyst to join our Sales and Business Intelligence Team.

In this role you will be a key contributor to the developing WineBook business opportunities, creating MMD sales analyses, and providing insights to management and the sales force to influence sales strategy.

This is a full-time, non-exempt salaried position with benefits located in our New York office.

Job duties:

WineBook Sales Operations & Analytics: (60%)
•  Become expert user with VIP IDIG and KARMA as it relates to WineBook
•  Work with WineBook managers to create regular offers in the form of sell sheets and e-mails for both direct customers and distributors
•  Keep a pulse on new and trendy accounts to build target lists for new business
•  Work with Marketing on developing WineBook social media
•  Create bi-weekly recap of sales and inventory
•  Oversee monthly catalog creation for Bordeaux & WineBook CA
•  Communicate with sales managers on product availability
•  Assist with WineBook POs as needed
•  Update monthly orderbooks
•  Develop analyses and insights particularly for Merry Edwards
•  Assist with price postings
•  Ensure data flow in VIP is correct for WineBook data, make corrections as necessary
•  Create trackers for monthly goals and sales
•  Help WB CA team manage their custom lists through KARMA
•  Communicate with MMD sales managers and distributors to obtain correct purchase orders
•  Work on quarterly distributor catalogs and tailored offers for distributor events

MMD Sales Team Support: (20%)
•  Collect, analyze, and report sales data through VIP to understand the state of the business for both MMD & WineBook, increase sales productivity, and gauge ROI on marketing activities
•  Assist with monitoring and auditing data outputs to ensure clean and accurate data
•  Partner with Analyst to stay current with newest VIP tools and troubleshoot systems issues
•  Work with Analyst and Director of Sales in preparing review meetings with distributors and suppliers
•  Work with BI Team on executive presentations
•  Assist Sales team in establishing target lists and measuring actual sales performance against pre-set targets
•  Create ad-hoc reporting for the Sales Team
•  Work with MMD & WineBook sales teams to maintain working target lists in KARMA
•  Create monthly NY catalog
•  Monitor competitive wholesale pricing on a monthly basis
•  Work with Director of BI on goal creation and tracking
•  Work with Director of Sales on special projects, ie Dominus Letters

National Program Support: (10%)
•  Assist Director of Sales with presenting and monitoring national programming for accounts such as Total Wine & More, Kroger, Wegmans, etc
•  Assist with program turn ins
•  Develop tools to facilitate new item turn ins and presentations
•  Create reporting and communicate to sales leadership to ensure strong inventory position in all markets

Trade & Marketing Support: (10%)
•  Liaise with public relations and marketing operations team on sampling, event preparation and organization
•  Assist in setting up tastings, training sessions for distributors or key account sales force, and in the reception of suppliers to the NY office
•  Participate in trade shows and industry marketing events
•  Collaborate with Marketing team on e-commerce updates, Proof & wine.com


What you bring:
•  Requires a minimum of 1 year of work or internship experience
•  Education: Business, science or engineering B.A. / B.S. degree
•  Highly organized and reliable, with meticulous attention to detail
•  Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills
•  Ability to problem solve
•  Clear communication skills
•  Self-starter, curious and motivated
•  Excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
•  Meticulous attention to detail
•  Interest in the wine industry
•  Should be able to lift up to 30lbs
•  The position is based in New York and reports to the office Monday-Friday
