DTC & Marketing Coordinator
At Michael David Winery, the DTC & Marketing Coordinator supports Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and broader marketing initiatives through email marketing, Wine Club communications, consumer-facing creative development, and marketing coordination. This role plays a key part in maintaining the brand voice of Michael David Winery across consumer-facing channels.
The ideal candidate is a creative communicator with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple marketing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Strategy
• Write, design, and execute compelling email marketing campaigns aligned with the DTC marketing calendar.
• Manage and grow the email subscriber database through targeted acquisition efforts.
• Track and analyze email and DTC campaign performance, providing recommendations to improve engagement, conversion, and revenue.
• Develop and implement campaigns to support Wine Club acquisition and retention.
• Support e-commerce and website marketing updates, including product content, promotions, landing pages, and seasonal campaigns.

Creative & Consumer Marketing
• Create and assist in the development of customer-facing materials including Wine Club brochures, newsletters, tasting room menus, event signage, and other promotional assets (both print and digital).
• Develop consumer-facing copy for email, web, Wine Club, tasting room, events, and promotional campaigns while maintaining Michael David Winery brand standards and voice.

Marketing Coordination
• Maintain DTC products, promotions, and marketing content within Commerce7.
• Manage inventory and fulfillment of POS materials, wine samples, and other marketing assets for a remote sales team of 20+ members.
• Coordinate submissions of newly released wines to industry media for reviews.
• Register wines for competitions and coordinate participation in sales events.
• Manage shipment of wines and promotional materials for marketing and sales initiatives.
• Track and reconcile marketing expenses using Ramp.

Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, DTC, e-commerce, wine, hospitality, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Experience developing consumer-facing marketing content and creating basic graphic design assets.
• Experience developing and executing email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, Commerce7, or similar systems.
• Strong creative writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PowerPoint; experience with other design platforms is a plus.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
