J. Scott Cellars was established in 2003 by owner and winemaker Jonathan Scott Oberlander. Jonathan's passion for wine and excellent wine making skills have earned J. Scott Cellars a reputation as one of Oregon's premier small wineries. Jonathan makes over 30 varietals of wine and consistently produces new wines to share with our customers.

We have a contemporary wine tasting room in downtown Eugene that is open daily in the afternoon and evenings . We serve our 30 wine varietals and food to customers in a friendly, welcoming and professional atmosphere. We have live music on most weekends and host a variety of special events.

We are looking for an associate that shares our passion for wine and excellent customer engagement.

Requirements:
*Minimum of 1 year of experience in the wine industry and wine tasting rooms
*Excellent communication skills
*Enjoy talking with customers about our wines and wine clubs
*At least 21 years old with current OLCC and Food Handlers permits
*Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand/walk for several hours at a time
*Must be able to multitask and have great attention to detail

As a Tasting Room Associate you will welcome visitors with warmth, guide them through tastings, and share the story behind every bottle. You’ll also help grow our wine club community and keep our tasting spaces sparkling clean and stocked. Associates will be expected to serve wine and food, prepare cheese plates and snacks, bus their tables and work as a team with the other staff members.

Pay: $16/hr plus tips and bonuses. Most associates earn $28-$33/hr after tips. We do not pool tips, so your excellent service leads to the best pay.
