Job Description:

Ideal for a college student or someone looking for a little extra income, we invite you to join our team as a part-time Tasting Salon Concierge on the weekend!

Founded in 1979, we offer fantastic Cuvaison and Brandlin estate wines, a great collaborative team, and a breathtaking 'office view' in the beautiful Carneros region. We strive to foster a progressive, modern workplace that prioritizes the well-being of our team members while delivering the ideal wine country experience for our visitors.

Our concierges are the front-line, key communicators to our guests. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, a natural desire for great customer service, and an understanding of luxury service.

Role responsibilities (these may vary due to business needs):
•  Organize and manage the Tock reservation database and distribute the daily schedule to the team on each shift.
•  Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, ensuring seamless communication and swift follow-up for appointments and sales orders.
•  Greet each guest with a warm and gracious welcome, creating a memorable first impression. Explain the tasting experience, protocol, and introduce the guests to their wine host.
•  Engage with guests to ascertain information so as to personalize their experience: questions such as who referred them, where they’re staying, are they local, etc. Assist guests with recommendations/reservations for hotel partners, restaurants, spas, and other wineries if needed.
•  Respond to all appointment requests and emailed inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that any notes or special requests are reviewed and met as needed.
•  Continuously monitor the general appearance, temperature & ambiance of the tasting room, restrooms, patios, and private areas throughout the day.
•  Assist in end of day closing procedures (bottle counts, tabulating ‘pour’ wines, closing registers, clean up etc.).
•  Assist in routine cleaning of all tasting areas to ensure all areas are presentable for our guests.
•  Assist in packing guest orders as needed.
•  Assist with events and outreach activities as needed.
•  Consistently deliver on Effortless Luxury: “Empowering the guest on their wine journey by meeting them where they are to establish trust and create a lasting relationship”.
•  Bring our 5 Core Values to life every day: Customer Service, Pride, Fun, Sense of Community, and Shaper.

Qualifications:
•  Enthusiasm, focus, and positive outlook. A team player.
•  Ability to work weekends
•  1-2 years of luxury wine, restaurant, and/or hotel experience
•  Ability to stand for extended periods of time
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
•  Shopify, Sling, and Tock experience a plus
•  RBS and ServSafe certifications
•  Attention to detail and excellent communication
