Position Purpose
Acting on own initiative, the Director Facilities is responsible for establishing the methods, procedures, and technical requirements necessary to assure that winery infrastructure, buildings, and equipment are maintained to a high degree of reliability to support day to day winery operations across our Geyserville (Francis Ford Coppola Winery) and Napa sites (Black Stallion Estate Winery, Delicato Corporate Offices). This role is also responsible for assuring that all hospitality areas including restaurants, tasting rooms, retail and memorabilia displays, pool, pavilion, changing cabines, bocce courts, event space, grand staircase, guest houses, guest suites, etc. are maintained to a high standard to assure a visually impressive and safe experience for our guests. This includes establishing leadership and performance standards to which all applicable departments and vendors operate, and ensuring managers and teams are consistently performing to those standards. Strong cross-functional communication, collaboration and process improvement drive are required to keep pace with company growth, technology advances and changes in the industry.

• Coaches, guides, and develops direct reports; fully engages in the GPS (Performance Management) process; provides high-quality feedback, and ensures proper GPS documentation of employee performance, recognition, and deficiencies
Essential Duties
• Oversees all facilities and production maintenance
• Plans and executes all phases of preventative and reactive maintenance adhering to quality, productivity, customer, compliance, and budgetary standards
• Ensures accurate regulatory reporting for all distribution and treatment of domestic water, process water, domestic waste , elevators, and restaurant compliance
• Owns the capital budget to support the needs of winery operations and hospitality, including equipment and infrastructure are maintained to a high degree of reliability and overall functionality; management of Capital Expense Requests, project cost tracking, and timely completion of projects
• Ensures continuous improvement processes are developed, maintained, and utilized to enable team collaboration, analysis, and problem solving in the pursuit of equipment reliability, quality, efficiencies, and lower operating costs
• Communicates and coordinates with winemaking, cellar, bottling, compliance, and support functions to ensure wine quality focus, annual harvest processing delivery, project delivery where applicable, maintenance requirements and overall facility process/performance effectiveness
• Enforces Safety, ISO, cGMP, and other applicable business critical standards
• Promotes skill development programs to keep pace with current and future technology requirements

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
• AA/AS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and basic refrigeration and electrical a plus
• 7+ years mechanical experience in Industrial Maintenance
• 5+ years leadership/supervisory experience
Certificates and Licenses
• Valid California Drivers License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of winery production or similar manufacturing background, project management, process improvement and team leadership
• Strong computer knowledge is a prerequisite and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) skills are required with a strong emphasis and track record using Excel for data analysis
• Excellent communication skills - both formal and informal with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of managerial finance
