Title: Sales Analyst
Reports to: Director of Business Intelligence and VP of Sales
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

Maison Marques & Domaines, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sales Analyst to join our Sales and Business Intelligence Team.

In this role you will be a key contributor in managing MMD sales information systems, extracting and analyzing relevant sales data, and developing new tools and reporting to further operational efficiency for the sales force.

This is a full-time, exempt salaried position with benefits located in our New York office.

Job duties:

Analysis & Reporting (40%):
o Become expert user with VIP IDIG and KARMA, web-based tools used to analyze MMD sales in order to add value to the sales team and gain operating efficiencies
o Collect, analyze, evaluate and report sales data through IDIG in order to increase sales productivity
o Monitor and audit data outputs to ensure clean and accurate data; lead processes to resolve any data accuracy concerns
o Partner with VIP Account Manager to stay current with newest VIP tools and to troubleshoot systems issues
o Develop customized reporting to provide upper management and sales managers
o Manage goal and incentive tracking
o Run monthly reporting for select suppliers

Sales team support (20%):
o Work with VP and Directors of Sales in developing business review meetings with distributors and suppliers
o Create analyses for annual top-to-top summits with distributor partners
o Develop and communicate new tools for the sales team
o Assist sales team in establishing target lists and measuring actual sales performance against pre-set targets
o Provide training to new sales team members
o Partner with sales managers on troubleshooting VIP or KARMA tools

Forecasting and Inventory Management (20%):
o Manage monthly depletions and reporting process with the Director of Logistics
o Assist sales management in preparing yearly sales forecasts
o Develop analyses to understand inventory situation at the distributor, reducing out of stocks
o Develop an improved product forecasting model to create forecasts earlier, more accurate and more efficiently
o Work with Supply Chain Director on processes to facilitate efficient ordering

National Program Support (15%):
o Assist Director of Sales with presenting and monitoring national programming
o Develop tools to facilitate new item turn ins and presentations
o Develop templates and reporting to ensure strong inventory position in all markets

Miscellaneous (5%):
o Liaise with marketing and public relations on sampling and event preparation and organization
o Assist in setting up tastings, training sessions for distributors or key account’s sales force, and in the reception of suppliers to the NY office
o Participate in trade shows and industry events within NY city.
o Assist NY sales team with deliveries and samples as needed


What you bring:
•  2-5 years of experience with progressing responsibilities,
•  Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering or computer sciences preferred
•  Highly organized and reliable, with meticulous attention to detail
•  Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills
•  Ability to problem solve
•  Resourcefulness
•  Self-starter, curious and motivated
•  Excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
•  Interest in pursuing AI capabilities as it relates to the wine industry
•  Interest in the wine industry
•  Should be able to lift up to 30lbs
•  The position is based in New York and reports to the office Monday-Friday
