We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised self-starter to run the Events Team of our busy communications agency.

Clients include Tesco BWS, Gallo, Vins de Provence, Bordeaux Wines, MDCV UK, Brown Family Wine Group and DO Ribera del Duero.
We are a small, perfectly formed team of nine. Our office is situated in a quiet mews development in central Wimbledon. We operate a hybrid work model, with three set days in the office each week.
Job Description
Working alongside our PR Team, our busy Events Team delivers a wide range of initiatives for our diverse client base. These range from meticulous press tastings to large experiential road-shows, pop-ups, consumer events, training programmes, retailer promotions and competition management.
The E&M Director forms an important part of the management team of the company, and is responsible for the delivery of all events and trade engagement activities, overseeing the work of the Events Manager and liaising with clients and the rest of the Cube team.
Key responsibilities
Cube is a highly collaborative company, and the E&M Director acts as a centre of excellence for all events and marketing activities, acting both directly with client stakeholders and also in support of the PR & Communications Team.
• Campaign planning and delivery, in partnership with the PR Director
• Implementation & management of client event, trade engagement and retailer activations with the support of other Cube directors, coordinating suppliers and Cube team to achieve best results, drafting activity and contact reports etc
• Database management and CRM outreach
• Financial management – ensuring all costs are tracked and reported correctly
• Attend client meetings and brainstorms
• Assisting and/or leading (as relevant) on new business development including brainstorms and pitches
• Managing the Events Manager/Executive
• Input into Cube management team decision-making through weekly meetings etc.
• Crisis management where applicable
Key competencies
You should be highly motivated with boundless energy, enthusiasm and strong organisational skills. A professional knowledge of wine and other drinks would be an advantage, as would a good understanding of the UK wine trade environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work across different projects concurrently
• Strong financial acumen and ability to create and manage campaign and project budgets
• High level of written & verbal communication skills and excellent command of the English language
• Being comfortable managing contact databases and running CRM campaigns e.g. emails to recruit for trade events
• Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Dynamic & motivated with a hands-on approach
• Proficiency of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Creative thinking and problem solving
• Flexibility
• Results oriented
• Demonstrated time planning & management
• Clean UK driving license a bonus, but not essential
• Professional & well-maintained personal appearance
Educational requirements
• Educated to University degree level
• WSET or similar an advantage
Renumeration and Benefits Package
