Western Regional Sales Manager

Job Description:

Since 1797, Louis Latour is one of the major Burgundy domaine and its subsidiary Louis Latour Inc.

•  Lead our sales efforts in a multi-State territory in the Western part of the country.
•  Maintain and enhance our best-in-class partnership with our distributors in the following States:
- CA, AZ, NV, NM, UT, WA, OR, CO, MT, WY, AK, ID and HI
•  Responsible for delivering the Regional Sales Plan for revenue and gross profit.

Responsibilities:
•  Directly drive the growth of the company’s portfolio of key regional accounts in all trade channels.
•  Manage pricing in the region to reflect the company’s national pricing strategy.
•  Drive sustainable business with trade initiatives in collaboration with our distributor partners.
•  Lead account outreach events (trade shows, tastings, wine dinners…)
•  Educate the distributors’ sales force and management on the Louis Latour brands.
•  Collaborate with the distributor network with D.I. shipping and inventory management.
•  Regular updates of the company’s CRM to track account development effort across the Region.
•  Provide regular brand sales updates & guidance to key distributor partners.
•  Represent the Louis Latour brands with the highest level of professionalism in all business settings.

Requirements and qualifications:
•  Bachelor’s degree required.
•  10 years minimum of wine distribution and luxury wine sales.
•  Wine certification: WSET, CSW, CMS preferred.
•  Proficiency in French preferred but not essential
•  Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally for up to 50% of the time.
•  On & Off premise channel experience with proven track record of growth.
•  Experience with P&L management.
•  Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize initiatives & projects.
•  Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
•  Southern or Northern California based position, within reasonable distance from a major airport.
•  Valid motor vehicle driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain vehicle insurance as required by law.
