Dineen Vineyards is a family owned & operated estate vineyard and winery located in Rattlesnake Hills of the Yakima Valley just north of the town of Zillah, Washington. Our vineyards were established over 20 years ago and today there are just under 100 featuring 12 varietals, with a focus on those from the Bordeaux and Rhône Valley.

The route to the highest quality wine is through precision and discipline while having fun is always at the top of the to-do list. We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and hands-on individual who can join forces with our Winemaker in the cellar and in the lab through our harvest season. This is an opportunity to work at a special site and learn from a highly skilled and experienced small team.

Responsibilities include:
•  Grape sampling
•  Operating crush equipment and press
•  Cleaning and sanitizing winery equipment
•  Pumpovers and punchdowns
•  Barrel filling, topping, and cleaning
•  Yeast preparation and addition
•  Additions to wine and juice
•  Laboratory analysis using DMA, pH probe, Y-15 and alcolyzer
•  Fermentation monitoring (Brix and temperature checks)
•  Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace
•  Forklift operation - training preferred but not required
•  Other jobs as assigned by manager

Qualifications and Requirements:
•  Previous winery and/or lab experience or education a plus, but we are happy to train anybody with a passion for wine, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
•  Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
•  Able to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, etc.
•  Able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperatures
•  Available to work long hours and weekends as necessary
•  Attention to detail, curiosity, and positivity

Additional Information:
•  Seasonal full-time position
•  Late August-Late November with possibility of longer depending on season
•  Housing available depending on situation
