The Concierge plays a key role in creating a warm and welcoming first impression for every visitor to Artesa. This position ensures guests feel informed and comfortable by clearly explaining our wine service, guiding them through the property layout, and providing any additional details that enhance their overall experience. The Concierge escorts guests to their assigned table and introduces them to a VC Host for their tasting.

This position reports to the Tasting Room Manager and the Director of Hospitality.

Essential Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
Greet guests at Artesa’s front entrance and check them in for scheduled reservations
Manage hospitality inquiries via phone and email from patrons, guests, and referral sources, serving as a gracious and professional point of contact
Provide high-level administrative support to the hospitality team
Educate guests on daily wine tasting offerings, as well as available cheese and tapas selections for purchase
Respond to guest questions regarding Artesa’s history, wines, Wine Club, retail offerings, and local Wine Country attractions (including restaurants, hotels, and points of interest)
Assist with seating guests with accurate tasting menu, water, glasses, and get the information to the correct wine educator in a timely manner
Assist wine educators in cleaning, restocking, and closing the day
Drive sales by promoting wines, Wine Club memberships, merchandise, and upgraded tasting experiences; meet monthly sales goals
Assist with special events and private dining experiences
Support restocking, inventory management, and general floor upkeep
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Maintain the foyer area by clearing signage, used glassware, and debris throughout the day
Serve as cashier when needed
Keep workspaces clean, organized, and presentable
Follow all company safety protocols and office policies
At closing, ensure the front reception/lobby doors are securely locked after all guests have departed

Compensation: $20 per hour plus shared tips and compensation --- Health Benefits (to list) --- Paid Holidays
