Premium Napa Valley Winery is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Assistant Tasting Room & Wine Shipping Manager to help lead our luxury guest experiences, direct-to-consumer sales, and wine shipping operations. This leadership position works closely with the Director of Hospitality to ensure exceptional service across our estate while developing team members, driving sales, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
•  Assist in overseeing daily hospitality operations across all tasting and guest experiences.
•  Lead and coach the hospitality team through daily support, training, pre-shift meetings, and consistent execution of service standards.
•  Deliver an exceptional guest experience from reservation through follow-up, ensuring guest information is accurately maintained in Tock and Commerce7.
•  Drive wine sales, Wine Club memberships, and guest engagement through coaching and hands-on leadership.
•  Oversee daily wine shipping operations, including fulfillment priorities, weather holds, customer communication, and coordination with fulfillment team.
•  Support inventory management for wines, food pairings, hospitality supplies, and daily operational needs.
•  Assist with Wine Club events, private events, VIP experiences, and winery promotions.
•  Monitor sales performance, labor, hospitality reporting, and operational standards while maintaining immaculate presentation throughout all guest areas.
•  Partner with Sales & Marketing to promote winery experiences, encourage guest reviews, and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications
•  Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, wineries, restaurants, or luxury tourism preferred.
•  Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and developing high-performing teams.
•  Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•  Experience with POS, reservation, or CRM systems such as Commerce7 and Tock is preferred.
•  Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and special events.
•  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
