Job Description:
Laird Family Estate, a premium custom crush facility in Napa, is looking for a Full Time Cellar Supervisor. This is your opportunity to work at a company that focuses on small lot, high end wines from some of the top brands in the Napa Valley.

Cellar Supervisor:
•  Full time position.
•  Reports directly to Cellar Master
•  5 years winery cellar experience required along with a great work ethics and dependability.
•  Supervisory experience a plus.
•  Thorough knowledge of: pumps, crushers, presses, topping, pump overs, rackings, cross flow filtration, pad filtration, rackings, sanitation, and additions is a must.
•  This position will supervise cellar workers during and after harvest, perform cellar work as needed including but not limited to: filtration's, rackings, pump overs, additions, filling and emptying barrels, setting up jobs, clean up and all activities related to wine making.
•  This person must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
•  Winemaker’s Data Base experience a plus.
•  Able to use Excel, Word and Outlook a plus.
•  Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds of weight continuously. Candidate must also be able to stand for long periods of time, reach with arms and hands, walk long distances, walk upstairs, sit for long periods of time, kneel, stoop, crouch and crawl.
•  Up to six days a week & long hours during peak season.
•  Position requires work schedule flexibility; this position works Sundays during harvest.
•  Obey all safety regulations.
•  Must be able to read, write and speak English and be able to perform simple arithmetic.
•  Must be able to work with SO2 gas.
•  Pay $30.00-$33.00hr depending on experience.
