We are seeking a commissioned-based Sales Representative to join our growing team in our Northern California territory.

The ideal candidate has experience in wine and spirit sales and distribution with established track record and strong relationships with retail stores, restaurants and bars throughout Northern California.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•  Develops and maintains strong relationships with potential and existing accounts in the wine and spirit industry.
•  Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
•  Develops and implements strategies for sales in the assigned region.
•  Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
•  Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other specifications to clients.
•  Prepares and submits orders.
•  Collaborates with staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
•  Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.
•  Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:
•  21 years of age or older
•  Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•  Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•  Attention to detail and high personal standards of performance.
•  Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
•  Existing network of buyer relationships is a plus.
•  Strong negotiation skills.
•  Valid driver license and ability to travel within the territory.
•  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and/or related software.
•  Passion for wine and spirits, with a desire to continue learning.


Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in wine and/or spirits sales, preferably in the Northern California market.

Physical Requirements:
•  Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
•  Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required.
