2026 Harvest Cellar Hand – Paso Robles, California
Field Recordings Winery, located in Paso Robles, California, is hiring one experienced harvest cellar hand for the 2026 vintage! We’re a small-to-medium-sized winery, processing approximately 800 tons of fruit annually, sourced from over 20 vineyards across California’s Central Coast. Our diverse grape portfolio offers an incredible opportunity to learn about a wide range of varietals and winemaking styles. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 harvests of cellar experience.
About the Role:
As a harvest cellar hand, you’ll work side-by-side with our experienced cellar crew—some of whom have been part of the team for 10+ years. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be involved in all aspects of harvest, from crush to press.
What You’ll Gain:
- Full immersion in the wine production process making many different styles of wine (red, white, orange, pet-nat, traditional method sparkling, carbonic maceration)
- Daily harvest lunches and a well-stocked kitchen with snacks and treats
- Vertical, blind, and inspiring wine tastings to help broaden your palate
- The chance to be part of a tight-knit, passionate team that makes the most of the harvest season (expect plenty of music, jokes, and ridiculous hypothetical questions)
What We’re Looking For:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Local candidate with reliable transportation
- Strong physical fitness and comfort with manual labor
- A positive attitude and excitement to learn
- Two harvests of cellar experience and experience on a forklift
Position Details:
- Duration: August – October 2026
- Schedule: Full-time; 6 days/week during peak harvest (overtime expected)
- Pay: $20 - 25 / hour
