Description:
A wine auction, retail, storage, and services firm based in Orange County, California is seeking an extremely detail-oriented, hard-working, and organized individual to join our Auction Client Services team. This position is responsible for coordinating customer shipments, answering phones and emails, assisting with auction purchases, managing client storage accounts, and working closely with warehouse staff to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and communicating with customers while working closely with a warehouse team. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is comfortable balancing office and warehouse responsibilities, and is eager to build their knowledge of fine and rare wines.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. This is an entry-level to mid-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities Include:
Answering incoming phone calls and responding to customer emails in a professional and timely manner
Assisting customers with bidding questions, invoices, payments, and account maintenance
Coordinating domestic and international wine shipments
Scheduling customer pickups, deliveries, and storage transfers
Assisting customers with wine storage inquiries and inventory requests
Working closely with warehouse staff, sales staff, and management to ensure a smooth customer experience
Researching and resolving customer service issues and shipment related concerns
Assisting with inventory verification, bottle retrieval, and other warehouse projects as needed
Lifting, moving, and transporting cases of wine as part of daily operations
Supporting various administrative and operational projects as needed
Developing an understanding of fine and rare wines, auction operations, and Spectrum Wine's services

Successful Candidates Demonstrate:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A basic knowledge of wine or a genuine eagerness to learn about fine and rare wines
A strong ability to analyze, organize, and manage competing priorities while dependably and accurately completing projects according to established deadlines
Ability to work and communicate well with a small and collaborative team
Strong Internet, Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook), Google products, and general computer proficiency
Strong verbal, written, and customer service communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
A self-motivated work ethic
An ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly and work comfortably in a refrigerated (50°F / 10°C) warehouse environment
Experience in customer service, logistics, shipping, hospitality, retail, wine, or warehouse operations is strongly preferred

Minimum Required Experience: Minimum one year of experience in customer service, logistics, hospitality, shipping, retail, or administrative support required. Previous wine industry experience or a demonstrated interest in wine is strongly preferred.
