A Taste of What You'll Do
Step into a lead role where hospitality, sales, and wine education come together to create an exceptional guest experience. As a Tasting Room Representative Lead, you’ll help bring the brand to life by delivering engaging and memorable wine tastings while supporting daily operations and driving sales performance. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for guests, sharing knowledge of winemaking, winegrowing, and vintages while building lasting relationships that inspire loyalty and connection.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the tasting room environment, ensuring it is welcoming, well-organized, and aligned with brand standards. You’ll guide guests through tastings, promote Wine Club memberships, and contribute to a high-energy, team-focused atmosphere. Your ability to balance service excellence with operational responsibilities will help create a seamless experience for every visitor.
As a lead, you’ll also support and coach team members, helping elevate service delivery and wine knowledge across the team. You’ll step in to make decisions when needed, assist with training, and represent the tasting room at events both on and off site. What You'll Need
• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus 6 years of tasting room, customer service, retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, marketing or teaching and educating others experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of tasting room, customer service, retail sales, wine industry, hospitality, team management, public relations, marketing or teaching and educating others experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Required to be 21 years of age or older.
• Required to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
• Required to engage in frequent walking and standing.
• Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Experience executing tasks that required attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience executing tasks or job functions that require good organizational skills and engaging in functions using own initiative.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
• Possession of CSW, Certified Sommelier or WSET Advanced Certifications.
• Knowledge of wine and wine production.
• Skilled in personal selling, time management, and public speaking.
• Experience training and leading others.
