Bally Keal Vineyards seeks curious or passionate people who are interested in fermentation science related to winemaking and grape growing. We are excited to offer a dynamic internship position for upcoming 2026 harvest and crush at Bally Keal Vineyards. The winery is in the beautiful farming region of the Suisun Valley AVA in Fairfield California.


Position: Wine Harvest Internship

Duration: August-Mid November or December depending on mother nature

Hours: 20-40 hours depending on production needs

Days: Monday-Sunday with at least one or two days off

About Us:


We are a small winery that focuses on Estate Cabernet sauvignon grapes to produce 6-10K cases of wine each year. We have a small team of talented and passionate people who trained under top winemakers in California. We enjoy working together to strive for greatness in every sip!


Responsibilities:

•  Assist with grape processing and sorting

•  Support Vineyard staff and winemaking team by processing grape samples

•  Help with grape crushing, destemming, and fermentation management

•  Conduct quality inspections and record keeping

•  Assist with cellar work and wine processing

•  Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Qualifications:

•  Enthusiasm for viticulture and winemaking

•  Interest in agriculture, biology, or related fields

•  Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

•  Good physical stamina and attention to detail

•  Prior experience is a plus but not required
